- PayDay Budget in Japan. (YT) So calming, haha. Should I do some kind of budgeting challenge in 2026?
- Ditching Spotify for MP3.(YT) This is an interesting trend? I’ve also been thinking abt this because I’m considering leaving Spotify.
- Tracking Habits. (YT) Editing style felt a bit too Casey Neistat-y. But it’s food for thought.
- Urban EDC. (YT) Enjoyed seeing this lady who is more prepared for life than I. Also find that there are not enough of these EDC guides for ladies? Good for me b/c I am never equipped.
- Working 9-5 in Skyrim. (YT) Made me laugh.
- This Brandi Carlile Tiny Desk! (YT) So joyful.
- Lindsey Scribbles – How I Use my HoboNichi Weeks Mega. (YT) Not saying that I’m gonna get a Mega… Hehehe. I enjoyed hearing about how she uses her diary. Definitely going to be referring to this from time to time.
- Rajiv Surendra – My Favourite Containers for Leftovers etc. (25-26 Nov 2025, YT): I wish I knew this man in real life. Love hearing him share his stories. You know that he’s going to be this wonderful and joyful old man.
- Closed Stacks – The Secret to Reading More (24 Nov 2025, YT)
- Quotes I wrote down:
- Read everyday, Read books that you enjoy, Read with intention, not pressure.
- “… read because it’s one of the places in life where you can move at your own pace“.
- Thoughts that I had:
- I like that Closed Stacks said that ultimately, reading like this might mean that we may have to reduce the amount of reading that we do. However, he pointed us to the Slower Reader Paradox – we don’t read as much, but we deepen our relationship with what we’re reading and remember what we’ve read.

- Struthless – A chaotic guide to making stuff instead of doomscrolling. (23 Nov 2025, YT)
- Quotes I wrote down:
- “Prolonged exposure to media about the traumatic event caused more acute stress than the people who actually witnessed it in person… the people who only watched it tended not to employ a coping mechanism, they just suffered. All while feeling no agency.”
- Creativity: A coping mechanism!
- The 10 Prescriptions 🙂 — 1. Turn a mistake into art. 2. Pick a quote and turn it into art. 3. Write a letter to a friend. 4. Remake something you love. 5. Personify the resistance. 6. Exquisite corpse (any medium) 7. DIY super structure. 8. Alter something else to turn it into something else. 9. Answer famous questions (interview). 10. Do a constraint challenge (time/material/tool/brief from someone else).
- Thoughts: Creativity is no longer an option for survival… It is crucial to be a functioning and healthy and whole individual.

Movies/Shows
- Hirayasumi – Relaxing.
- The Materialists – Entertaining. Great camera work. But there was something strange abt this movie.
Books/Articles
- Neal Shusterman – Unwind (Nov? 2025, Physical Book). This feels like a simple book to read but it comes back to me in profound ways from time to time in my day to day.
- Nathan Blum – Outcomes (3 Nov 2025, New Yorker – Libby): Short story, fiction. Disconcerting read. The writer used the characters as foils for each other to give rise to a tender sort of end. But. I did not really care for the characters. It was a good short story. But I did not really like it.
- Madhuri Vijay – Lara’s Theme (16 Nov 2025, New Yorker – Libby): Such an intoxicating read. The characters are strange, absurd but feel more real than the previous short story. The stakes are higher, maybe. I couldn’t put this story down.
- JD Salinger – The Catcher In the Rye (24 Nov 2025, E-Book – Libby): Re-read. Glad I’m done though, my inner voice was really starting to echo Holden’s. Not good when I’m going through work existential crises of my own.
Podcasts
- This is Love – Cry (24 Nov 2025, Apple Podcasts)
