This is a list of what I’m up to right now in Q1 2026.

#1 – Continuing to consider mindful consumption via reading + thinking + devising attention practices through How To Do Nothing by Jenny Odell. You can find the posts that I’ve written on my progress through the category /how to do nothing.
#2 – Exploring what a faith based on love, not fear looks like… Was curious about Hellbent by Brian Recker, so reading through this, slowly. You can find the posts that I’ve written on my progress through the category /love not fear.
However, if I’m not in the mood for either #1 or #2, I might dip my toes in some fiction for a mental break – I’ll update under the tag /what I’m reading.
#3 – Current plan is to get back into running (starting with a 5km plan), with an aim to build a proper running base. I moved from 6kg to 7kg DB weighted lunge and am now up to abt 6-8 knee push-ups. I still appreciate having these 2 exercises to fall back on, so I’ll keep working on those 2 particular exercises! Not too sure if I’ll blog about these, even though I fully intended to do so last Q. Progress is slow, so there’s not much to say from week to week. Anyway, if I’m not feeling up to either, I’ll just try to hit 10K steps and keep on moving everyday 🙂
